Thank you so much for this - and for making it so affordable! I have just binge watched the whole thing and I am going to implement forthwith! I was most excited to see that there are Substacks that are artist based and focus on the images, not on the words. I love writing but it terrifies me so being able to share my art without having to write is so freeing! Thank you…
The mini-course has really helped me to pull my Substack together. I don't think I would have been able to feel so confident about it all without your gentle guidance. I love how you invite the possibility of everything being light, slow and playful, but still manage to drill down into the practicalities. It was just what I needed!
You are providing a very useful service to those of us who are ready to move over and I appreciate that you made your course amazingly informative and affordable.
I have LOVED YOUR COURSE. I will be recommending it to everyone who asks me a Substack question.
Thank you so much for putting the course together. I'm still watching the final video, but found it hugely inspiring and helpful!! The checklist from the second video was exactly what I needed, too.
You, Astrid, and your beautiful approach to all this have been like a North Star for me on this journey. Your course was pivotal for me early on and I am really grateful for the work you are putting out into the world. So, so important! Thank you.—Nina Veteto

This workshop will help you make Substack not merely a part of your marketing strategy, but to use it to expand your business. In this first section, I'll walk you briefly through what Substack is, why it's so great for small business owners, freelancers and artists, and share examples and case studies to inspire you for your own Substack newsletter.
In this section, I'll walk you through setting up your Substack newsletter, giving examples of my own and other people's Substacks and sharing strategies with you. I'll give you tips on writing various texts for your newsletter (about-page, welcome email, etc.) and include a checklist to help you move your existing newsletter from another provider (such as Mailchimp, Flodesk, Mailerlite, etc.) to Substack.
I'll invite you to have fun and experiment and take it gently.
In this final section of the course, I'll help you find a rhythm of writing that works for you, help you brainstorm places to share your Substack newsletter (primarily off social media) and offer ways of growing your Substack by building community. I'll also help you think through going paid and provide strategies and examples that you can use.
Bonus videos on new Substack features and some favourite elements that I didn't get to include in the original course.
A behind-the-scenes video sharing how I use Substack in my business, from my posting strategy to how I use Substack for and as part of my business. Plus worksheets to make what I share your own.
As I'm updating the videos, I'll put the old ones here. The content is 99% the same, but you might want to look something up you'd seen before.
